Current Projects

Creative Platforms – Working with local artists to host a series of workshops for 18–25 year olds to create art around the theme of Connections, using the railways to link subjects and provide inspiration.

A Day Like This - A project delivered by Highly Sprung for Heart of England CRP. Designed to promote the safe and accessible use of travel by rail for underserved audiences. 

Careers, Creativity, and the Commonwealth – A two-part project, the first part of which will be producing a mural for Platform 1 at the station under the theme of Connecting people with place & opportunity.  The second part of the project will be working with the New Leaf initiative on a Coaching, Mentoring & Employability programme that will result in sustainable employment at the end of it.

Sustainable Stations

Working in partnership with Coventry Transport Museum, we have developed a Sustainable Stations Workshop, piloted in the museum, and for use as pop-up workshops and as part of our ongoing education programme.

Safer schools - Rail safety videos

Station adopters are the backbone of community rail and during Covid-19, there were many months when they weren't able to go to their stations. When restrictions on volunteer activities eased, we wanted to show our gratitude to the hard-work and dedication they bring to their areas.
